IMPORTANT! READ THESE BEFORE BOOKING
Portsmouth Watersports Centre are currently experiencing issues with online payments. If the final confirmation of booking is displayed as £0.00 and no payment is requested at the time of booking, the client's space will be reserved and a member of staff will be in contact to take payment over the phone. The booking will not be secured until payment is made, so Portsmouth Watersports Centre hold the right to cancel the booking should payment not be received before the start of the course/booking.
All fees must be paid in full before the start of a course. A place can only be reserved on a specific course on receipt of a completed booking form and either a non-returnable deposit of £30 or payment in full, as applicable, or on payment with a credit/debit card by telephone or our website online booking system. The balance must be paid by six weeks before the start of the course. Failure to do this may result in clients losing their place on the course. For bookings made less than six weeks before the start of a course the full fee is required at time of booking. A separate booking form must be completed by, or on behalf of, each person and for each course. If you complete a form on someone else’s behalf please ensure you are able to give us their full postal address and telephone numbers before contacting us, and you must make them aware of these booking conditions. Clients are most welcome to make bookings and pay by credit/debit card over the telephone during weekday office hours (9.00am to 5.00pm). In this case we will complete a booking form on your behalf and a copy of the booking conditions will be sent with your receipt. It will be assumed you accept these conditions unless we hear to the contrary, in writing, within seven days of us sending them. Clients booking online via our website will be required to indicate that they accept these conditions. Credit card payments are subject to the following charges: Up to £30 = £1.00£31 - £150 = £3.00 Over £150 = £4.00

- An alternative course to the value of the cancelled course
- The same course on alternative dates
- Credit vouchers
Portsmouth Watersports Centre reserves the right to request anyone who does not meet the course criteria to withdraw from that course. At the Centre’s discretion, an alternative may be offered or a credit note. No refund will be made in these circumstances.
There is no upper age bar to many of the courses offered by the Centre and the involvement of older clients is actively encouraged. However, except for the specific youth courses and those designated ‘Family Friendly’, there is a minimum age of 16 for the courses offered at the centre.
