Due to the bird flu outbreak at Roath Park Lake boating operations will not open for the season (Easter 2022) as planned.
This is a precautionary measure in line with advice from Public Health Wales that people should avoid contact with the birds while there are a high number of cases of avian flu in the area.
The situation will be kept under review with a view to the season starting as soon as possible.
